The annual Drumbo Fair starts this Friday evening!!!

Tasty Treats

I would like to send out a big thank you to a great host Kelly.  Thank you so much for inviting us into your home to celebrate our kids survival of the first full week of school.  You presented a fantastic table of treats that I know was thoroughly enjoyed by all!!

Another great workout with a great bunch of ladies!  I know that many of us have found muscles we never knew we had and are going to feel the pain of those muscles in the morning.  So I hope all my Boot Camp Buddies were able to take time to themselves tonight to pamper those areas as we earned it tonight girls!!

First class of Boot Camp done and I think all the ladies would agree with me when I say "WOW what have I gotten myself into!!!"

In the end we motivated each other and had a lot of laughs (which our instructor Robyn said if we can talk and laugh we're not working hard enough) 

Great start Robyn and we look forward to what you have in store for us next wee!

Tonights The Night!!

 

Boot Camp starts tonight at 7pm sharp at the Drumbo Park.  Looking forward to seeing all my fellow boot campers geared up and ready to go!!!

Today my oldest daughter started JK!  She is so independent and confident that she walked right in the class without looking back.  Although I'm sad I didn't get a big hug before leaving, I'm proud of the little girl she has become.  I love you Lily and I can't wait to hear all about your first day of school!

Back To School

Wishing all the kids of Blenheim Distric P.S. a great day of back to school fun and a warm welcome to all the new students attending this year!!!  Have fun and play safe.

Paris Fair

Had a great time at the Paris Fair yesterday with the family and some good friends!  My girls really enjoyed the rides (which included our first ride in the RE/MAX balloon), throwing darts to pop balloons for prices and of course the Derby.  Congratulations to all the winner and a big thanks to all that participated for putting on a great show.  Were you able to make it out to the Fair and if so what was your favourite thing?

Windows need a cleaning???

Today I had my windows cleaned by a University student who has taken this up as a side job along with a friend of his.  They were recommend to me by my cousin and I was so shocked by the price I had to call for myself.  He gave me a rough price over the phone and less than a week later here he was cleaning all my windows: inside, outside, screen and sills, including all basement and garage windows for under $200!!

Nova Steel is Coming to Woodstock

A major player in the North American steel industry is coming to Woodstock and is in hiring mode.

Nova Steel has acquired the former Hobart Brothers industrial building on Pattullo Ave.

It's an expansive 148-thousand square foot building. But it looks like they're looking for more room, as construction crews are at the site, grading land on the south side of the building. (Pictured right) The expansion is said to be adding another 25,000 square feet to the facility.
